APPLICATION: Nosing at 3-1/2" is a standard nosing used to transition stepdown from room to room or at the top of a stair case or landing. This size is best suited for plank flooring at 3-1/4" or less.
APPLICATION: Nosing at 5-1/2" is a wide nosing used for open stairwells, sills, stepdown transitions or to upgrade the overall appearance of any installation. This size is best used with 4" plank or wider.
Details
Stair nosings, also known as landing treads, come standard options of 1/8″ squared nose or a 1″ full bullnose reveal. Our standard width recommendation is a 5-1/4″ to accommodate mounted balusters in line with the nosing detail and provides a more substantial dimension to the plank or parquet it frames.
Custom milling for various nose reveals, thickness, and widths are available upon request and priced accordingly.
Stain grade finished blending with any order. Other finishing specs are available upon request.
